BSL has a diverse student body of approximately 500 students from across the State of Alabama and the Southeast. Many different undergraduate majors are represented as there is no “correct” pre-law major. See testimonials.
Although a large majority of the student body is employed full-time, 70 percent attend classes at least three nights per week year round (fall, spring, summer semesters).
Students are affiliated with outstanding professional associations that include the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, the National Black Law Students Association, the Christian Legal Association, and the American Association for Justice (mock trial competition). Membership in these associations afford students the opportunity to facilitate the goals of the school as well as enhance their own law school experience.
