MAIG is in business to provide the finest quality on-site interpreting, real-time transcription, and Video Remote Interpreting services. Established by a Deaf woman and an experienced interpreter, MAIG is able to bring our lessons learned and the benefits of our unique knowledge to the community at large. MAIG has come together to address the increasing demand for highly experienced, qualified interpreters and transcribers. MAIG only provides qualified sign language interpreters and real-time transcribers. We have been working in the community for over a decade and are putting our knowledge and skills to work for the Deaf and Hard-of Hearing communities in business, education, and technical settings ina is a member of the Deaf Community. She brings a unique perspective as a consumer of interpreting and transcription services. Over the years throughout her community work, her graduate studies and in her personal life, Gina has depended on highly qualified interpreters. She understands the difficulty that can result from relying on unskilled practitioners and has made it her goal to provide nothing but the best for her community. She has now dedicated her resources to the provision of highly qualified professionals who are also in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which ensures communication accessibility for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Gina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Gallaudet University in Washington, DC and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University in Towson, Maryland.
